Project Description
ScriptWorld is a text-based murder mystery game platform based on multi-agent technology, solving inconveniences caused by time, social costs or player matching issues in traditional murder mystery games. The system uses AI-driven agents (like DM, NPC, Lobby) to replace human hosts and players, providing an immersive reasoning experience that can start anytime without other participants. Innovation lies in efficient collaboration and independent decision-making between agents. Each agent reasons independently based on role settings, NPCs are not just script executors but 'actors' with autonomous decision-making, making plots more vivid and natural. System ensures smooth interaction and information flow through centralized network architecture, with Supervisor Agent monitoring and correcting agent behavior to ensure fair rule execution.
Technical Solution
Planning multiple agents, each playing different roles: 1. Lobby Agent: Guides players into game, selects scripts, starts games, collaborates with other agents for smooth game launch. 2. DM (Dungeon Master) Agent: Controls plot progression, sets game states, manages game process. Doesn't participate in reasoning but distributes clues and controls plot. 3. NPC Agent: Plays various script characters, interacts with players based on settings, advances plot. Each NPC has independent reasoning and decision-making capability. 4. Supervisor Agent: Monitors all agent behavior, ensures rule compliance, prevents unfair or abnormal situations. Collaboration through OpenAgents network architecture using: Mods (Messaging Mods and Workspace Mods), gRPC protocol, centralized Network Layer event system.

① Lobby Agent: Guides players into game, displays available scripts, starts games. Receives player selections, validates legality, starts subsequent processes. ② DM Agent: Controls plot progression, distributes clues, maintains game rhythm. Manages game stages, distributes clues, dynamically adjusts narrative. ③ NPC Agent: Plays script characters, interacts with players, advances plot. Reasons independently based on role settings and background info. ④ Supervisor Agent: Monitors all agent behavior, ensures rule execution. Corrects violations, ensures game fairness and stability. ⑤ OpenAgents collaboration: All agents collaborate through centralized Network Layer, ensuring smooth info transmission and task coordination via gRPC protocol. ⑥ Implements Messaging Mods and Workspace Mods for agent message passing and task collaboration.
